the art of madness - Nathan Angelo

This is a blog dedicated to all of you out there who appreciate the random 'art of madness' that the wonderful world of technology has placed at our finger tips and into our pockets. You will find, here, all things Nathan Angelo: some will be funny, some stupid, some informative, and there might even be things that are musical as well.
Around 8pm on April 27th, I packed up my van and left my home in Atlanta for Nashville. I was worried about the trip because I had just heard of horrific tornados that had hit Tuscaloosa, AL earlier that evening. I picked up my guitarist -Drew- along the way, and we witnessed one of the scariest drives of our lives.
Fortunate for us, a tornado had just swept through the N. Cartersville area about 15 mins before we drove through. Tractor trailers were flipped over on the side of the road and trees that had once lined either side of the freeway looked like splintered toothpicks with their top-halves mowed to the ground. We got off of the road and waited for the next 2 hours before we had heard that it was safe to commence our trip.
Looking back on that night, I could only think of the defenseless horror that would have accompanied being caught in the middle of the storm. I heard the next day that Bradley County (south east Tennessee) was one of the areas that was badly hit by the tornados. So when I received a request to play this tornado benefit show, I was more than happy to help out.
It’s a great cause for people in need! If you live in the surrounding areas of north GA or southeast TN, come on out to this benefit show.
