I’m a CHUCK TAYLORS kinda guy

I’ve always wondered when does one get the title of being this or that kinda guy. This could refer to almost anything. He’s a ‘ball cap’ kinda guy or she’s a ‘scarf’ kinda girl. Or he’s a ‘coffee’ kinda guy & she’s a ‘tea’ kinda girl. It must come from a pattern of repetition. 

Well, I’ve worn my CHUCK TAYLORS pretty much every day for almost exactly a year now. I don’t know if it’s fair to say that I was a CT kinda guy over the course of that year. Yes…I personally liked wearing them, but I would’ve worn them until they fell off even if I didn’t like them. I think for me the moment that I realized that I was a CT guy was when I found myself searching for the EXACT same pair of shoes. 

I know what you might be thinking: 

‘This dude is lame. I mean…CHUCKS are great and all, but going back for the exact same pair of shoes? I don’t know about all that, bro.’

and I hear ya.

But when you find something that works & seems to fit the image that you feel comfortable in, K.I.S.S.!!! (Keep It Simple Stupid) So that is what I’ve done. 

‘Hey, I’ve got some new shoes on and suddenly everything’s right’
