Announcing an Acoustic Project!
We are pleased to announce that Nathan will be heading back into the studio in 2 weeks to record an acoustic project. In response to the overwhelmingly positive response to his acoustic videos & acoustic live performances, he will be recording 6-8 acoustic versions of some of his most requested ‘previously recorded’ songs. He may also include an unreleased song as well. The concept behind this project is to strip it down to the heart & soul of the song - with all of it’s imperfections.
A few questions:
- “Will there be piano on these ‘acoustic’ recordings?” Absolutely! There will be some acoustic guitar accompaniment, but the ‘acoustic’ vibe that will be aimed at is about capturing Nathan in his element - sharing his songs from behind the keys.
- “Can I request a song?” Yes! We have already taken requests & will continue to take requests up until the week that he begins recording. Understand that this project will be scaled down to only 6-8 songs, so it will be impossible for all requests to be met on this recording.
- “When will the project be complete? Will it be released physically or just digitally?” Nathan will spend less than a week in the studio - in an attempt to not over-think or over-produce the songs. We are planning on an early December release date with physical & digital copies available - in time for Christmas.

I can’t tell you how excited (& scared) I am to approach these songs in this manner! I’ve never thought of recording an acoustic project, but I’m stoked to be able to go back in to the studio in order to recapture the initial emotion that drove me to write these songs.
